Jean Meeks-Koch, Ph.D.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Meeks-Koch is the founder and CEO of positive eye consulting. Her background includes a dozen years as a consultant across diverse industries from construction to not-for-profit charities. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting, she has been a chief financial officer at a major university, led a commercial construction company, and taught at two major universities. Dr. Meeks-Koch’s doctoral research resulted in the development of a transformational, large-system change model that built on five theories of organizational system change.

She is sought after by management teams around the country, including several of NASA’s centers, for her expertise and unique management change model. Her work focuses on aligning and restructuring everything from HR and financial systems to strategic marketing plan implementation, core production process improvement, customer service and fulfillment solutions.

John Barry
Principal and Vice President of Business Development


John matches ideal clients with positive eye. A successful entrepreneur, he brings more than 30 years of experience building businesses and helping them grow within the marketplace. With expertise in the business forms industry, he understands what it takes to make businesses run efficiently and effectively. John’s work with diverse clients ranging from manufacturing to hospitality and health care to financial institutions makes him uniquely knowledgeable about the needs in the workflow processes of businesses.

 
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Oregon University. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in organizational systems from Saybrook University.

Amanda Hurst
Business Manager


Amanda Hurst sustains the day-to-day operations and logistical planning coordination for Positive Eye Consulting. With over 5 years of experience managing Positive Eye Consulting, Amanda provides exceptional attention to detail and a great depth of knowledge within the area of customer relationship management. She builds empowered relationships with clients and provides training on CRM system development and virtual office platform operation. Mother of two special needs children, she is well versed with staying on task and on schedule to accomplish daily and long-term goals. Utilizing this great skill set, Amanda coaches’ organizations to become task oriented and produce results.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Zoology emphasis from Southern Utah University and completed Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine’s Orthotics Certificate Program in Chicago, IL.
